CARENS (aka Rondo UN) Steering wheel Vibration

hi guys, i'm making a separate thread so there would be clearer tracking as well as resolution to my problem....apprently not just me...and not just Philippine consumers of Kia Carens. but also other countries....

mine happens on high-speed runs:
** when braking (but my disk rotor's aren't warped)
** and sometimes on non-perfectly smooth pavement.

i brought the car to Kia Pasay last Feb 9, 2010 to report this problem. and after test drive with ser Elmer (Mechanic/Technician) he recommended to ser Henson (SA ) to change my front disk rotors, but i'm hesitant because they do look fine.... (i've seen pictures of warped rotors on the internet, and mine isnt).

so far in our Carens Club Philippines ser Valskie and ser Hanren ser Mschumacher have mentioned of somewhat similar issue.

i'm setting a link below for the US version (although with a V6 gas engine)....

http://www.kia-forums.com/kia-carens-ron....o-ex-v-6-a.html

Notes; interesting thought fm. PLP of that forum, says to jack-up or hoist the car and run at the same speed. to see if have some vibration or not....and isolate if its Driveline or Suspension related....meaning if it still does happen, then its more of like Driveline (transmission-drive shaft issue)....

another forum said (for a Hyundai Trajet-i think its related issue) says he had his half-shafts (axle ) replaced and it solved the problem.

http://www.hyundai-forums.com/t19900-vibration-at-100km.htm

also do note that, already had my Caren's wheel/tires balanced at the expensive shop in BridgeStone Global City...and same thing....would vibrate at high-speed with provocation fm. either road surface or braking....

nangyari sa akin yan, when i reach speeds of 120kph, may vibration, especially when braking. i had my tires balanced and the problem was solved. baka ibang issue yung sa inyo.

suggestion sakin bago ako magpa balance is pa linis yung pistons ng brake calipers, pwede daw kasi nabaha, madumi or may rust kaya hindi pantay yung application ng brakes that results in vibration.

guys solve na ang problem ko re: vibration at high speed during braking. ive just decided to replace my rotor disc. though visual inspection ok yung rotor disc, warped talaga siya.

out of pocket expense. i dont know kung under warranty pa kasi yung nagpa 25k pms ako sa casa they told me na wala naman problem rotor disc ko. mukhang ayaw nilang palitan. kaya i decided to replace the rotor at my own expense. sa servitek ko pinagawa. i bought the oem rotor disk sa goodgear @ P2,200/pc. sa casa P4,400/pc.
