The labor cost of my first 5000 PMS at KIA Mandaluyong was free. Other casas are charging labor cost for this PMS :-*12

I had my 5K PMS at Kia Mandaluyong last Saturday. It only cost me 2,6++.

I had our Carens serviced yesterday sa Kia Mandaluyong. There was a knocking sound in the front left wheel, and the front passenger door lock was getting stuck at times.
I was billed 896.00 for labor. All they did was retighten some bolts for the shock mounting (na fix naman yung knocking sound), and lubricated the door locks (they removed the door panel to reach the locking mechanism).
I remember having my 5k, 10k and 15k PMS and they didn't charge me for labor. I called my dealer (Kia Pasig) and asked why they were billing me for labor / service since my unit is still under warranty, my dealer said that they changed the policy on service / labor charges.

Sir alan may nagpa pms na rin nung 3,800 kms pa lang siya I forgot who he/she is..
My Carens is more than 3 months already and I'm still hovering at 3,900 kms+ . Sa Baguio kasi medyo severe yung driving conditions (uphill stop and go trafic for short distance travels) kaya balak ko na rin magpa 5k pms. In relation to your question, do we need to set up an appointment or pwedeng directso na lang?

My Carens manual says 5000 kms or 6 mos whichever comes first. It's up to you if you want to have your maintenance now and have it stamped as your 5000km PMS. I would wait for the 5000km odometer reading unless you feel that your oil is too dirty already.
