DOE has released the Fuel Economy Run for 2008. This month has been announced as the Energy Month by the DOE.

Here are the Top 5 Fuel Efficient Vehicles per category.

Passenger Cars: (26 participated)
1. Suzuki ALTO (0.8L - Gasoline - Manual) = 34.00km/L
2. Hyundai GETZ (1.5L - Diesel - Manual) = 25.22km/L
3. Hyundai ACCENT (1.5L - Diesel - Manual) = 23.38km/L
4. Toyota VIOS (1.3 - Gasoline - Manual) = 22.67km/L
5. Kia PICANTO (1.1L - Gasoline - Manual) = 21.60km/L

SUV: (13 participated)
1. Isuzu ALTERA 4x2 (3.0L - Diesel - Manual) = 19.44km/L
2. BMW X3 ( 2.0L - Diesel - Automatic) = 16.63km/L

It just confirms that our Carens (whether MT or AT) are fuel efficient..that's an added value for our money..

Napansin ko:

- Daming Kia na nasa halos lahat ng category (except sa pick up -since wala namang pickup ang Kia)
- walang gas versions ang pumasok sa SUV at MPV..panay diesel. I think only Toyota has the Innova gas version. Yung sa gas na Carens wala na atang nirerelease dito sa pinas
