Guys meron na ba available na drop in air filter for Carens here? Sa Maspro wala pa daw sila pero sa Singapore meron na daw. Carnival na bago meron na daw accdng to Maspro.

I installed a k&n cone type filter. Bought it today from speedlab around 5k with installation. For Sta Fe ang kinabit. There is a whistling sound but they said its totally normal for crdi turbos and you'll get use to it. They also said di naman daw overboost if cone type nilagay. Performance is much better and nakahinga talaga ang turbo. Boost starts at 1500rpm na and better ang top end. Thank you to Mr. Sidney Ang for the assistance.
Grabe restrictions ng orig filter box. I think 70% lang efficiency. Inside the box there is a tube I think you can remove para makahinga ng maayos. I tried removing it kaya lang baka mabasag ang clip.
Anyone nagpalit na rin open filter? Share your experience naman. Baka you had problems let me know.

vgtsir, musta naman ang consumption ng carens mo? matic ba sayo o manual? kasi nung nilagyan namin ang altis namin noon ng short ram air intake na cone type lumakas sa gas humina ang arangkada pero umangat ang topspeed. stock exhaust yung altis at yung short ram air intake lang ang mods sa engine.

I made a modification sa K&N. I placed it inside the stock airbox. Cruven made an intake. Sakto yung filter inside the box. More cold air with cone type filter. Improved fuel consumption and power. Irritated kasi ako sa whistling sound. Manual po yung Carens ko.

sa congressional service mayroon original air cleaner filter. 500+ lang.

Sa website ng K&N filter, meron sila for kia rondo, with part num 33-2934, sa picture parang same sa air filter ng kia carens.
Sir vgt, pls post yung picture ng na-install nyong filter. TIA

mga sir, ask ko lang sana kung kumusta na yung condition ng rides nyo, lalo na yung nagkabit ng cone na air intake, diesel kase yung sakin, natanong ko nadin yung sa k&n pero pag gas lang siya so iba yung hugis, salamat!
