Curious lang po... gaano kabilis napatakbo ang Carens nyo at ano ang corresponding RPM... so far ang natatandaan kong RPM is 2,000 at 100kph (6 speed M/T).  Salamat po at ingat lagi sa pagmamaneho. |

Di ko namamalayan 160 kph na pala ang takbo ko dahil ang sarap magpatakbo sa SCTEX...di ko na matandaan ang RPM ko pero lagpas siya ng 2600 rpm. Sa palagay ko e okay na okay pang pumalo ng 190 dahil mahina lang ang rebolusyon ng makina pero safety first kaya nag-slow down ako. Di man lang gumagalaw ang Carens ko at parang 100 din ang takbo ko. |

Akala ko nagyayabang lang si Glenn (KIA Taytay) ng sabihing napatakbo na nya ang Carens ng 200kph... now i know... totoo pala.. lalo na may ebidensya pa. Sir Valskie01, Sir redcrdilx, di ba kayo kinabahan? Ilang minuto nyong na-maintain ang ganitong speed? Si Mr. Schuma pala naka 205kph na! Uh-oh...
By the way...kudos to staff of KIA Taytay, ang babait nila, very professional... got the surprised of my life when they sent me a birthday cake at home... ganun din ba sa pinagbilhan nyo? But the biggest surprise came from my wife.. she has this unique Birthday request.....
"Da, pwede bang daanan ang SCTEX? Birthday gift mo na lang sa akin....." Sa isip ko, "Wow, sa wakas, madadaanan ko na rin ang SCTEX with our beloved Carens!"
So, tomorrow, Nov. 15, 2008 (Sat), from Binangonan, fun ride kami ng family sa SCTEX... no i will not be breaking any record... hanggang 140kph lang po kaya ko (nagsosolo pa) ... pag kasama family, 100-110kph lang.. hope to meet some Carens' relatives there... give me a honk.. mine is Cherry Black - ZLT 334.
Ingat po lagi sa pagmamaneho...

210 kph around 3800 rpm 6th gear at nlex convoy with the barkadas. Kaya pa mag 220 kph kaso puro sasakayan na. Were tailing a hatchback b16 ng barkada. Tatakbo sya sa Subic. Nagulat siya nakabuntot pa kami. Iba na talaga mga CRDi's today.
Good thing with our Carens you wont feel youre at 200kph. parang 160kph lang. Same with the European cars. Ganun na ganun ang feeling. Thats why our Carens is a "European car with a Korean badge". Sobrang happy ako sa Carens CRDi. ;D

Uh-oh... ... medyo kabado rin ako. kaya after reaching that speed balik kaagad ako sa 100-120 kph. lang though very tempting talaga magpatakbo ng mabilis sa sctex. |

first i was running my carens at skyway at 210kmh with the orig tires. then i changed my tire to 17's with a 215 55 17 size it ran 210kmh maybe because i had changed the tires to a bigger tires baka kaya it only reg.210 at sctex pero w/5 pasengers and full tank of gas with our baggage at the back were off to subic.....when i did reached subic sabi ko 210 lang nga ba talaga? so i went back again to sctex from subic this time 3/4 gas and wala na karga ...ayun 225kmh cguro un at na pako ko na sa lagpas 220 un speedo!at 6t rpm w/ the redline of the gasoline carens is 7t.. my carens was the 7th carens on the road when i bought it. its a 2007 mdl gasoline and manual with k&n in box filter lng ang gnawa ko will let you know as to im re piping my exhaust next and will have a chip mods next  |

newby here, just pulled out 2009 LX CRDi, fastest ride so far is 160 kph, di ko na napansin yung rpm, I'm from bataan, before my ride is 2002 Honda CR-V, pero nung masubukan ko Carens parang walang pinag iba sa performance, medyo delay nga lang ng konte acceleration kasi nga diesel pero all in all mas comfortable ang carens, saka sa mababang ground clearance di nakakatakot biritin, unlike sa matataas, first love ko talaga CR-V eversince, but Carens is my true love now. I'm sure I made a excellent decission trading my CR-V with my carens. Enjoy our rides folks.
