Hi guys, need your advice po sana. I'm currently having some issues with some repair and restoration with a casa. I'm not sure how to go about it, but it causing me so much hassle since up to now I am unable to use my carens. Almots 2 weeks had elapsed for a simple dent restoration for my car (for a job that supposedly could have been accomplished easily in 4 days time). They are having problems with the color. As per their feedback, nakailang re-paint na sila (wala ba itong bad effect?). Sobra helpless ako kasi di ko alam rights ko as a client. Hintay lang at reklamo kaya ko gawin. Thanks po sa tulong in advance.

sir saan casa po ba? daldalhin ko din sa casa(kia signet) this sat. yung carens ko for replacement and painting ng driver side door.
kung several paint ang ginawa mukhang di na maganda effect niyan.

Finally, nakuha ko na rin yung carens ko. After 16 days! Just for a minor dent repair. And even after a that, hindi ako fully satisfied sa workmanship nila, hindi pulido, sad to say, parang hindi sila casa. After ibigay pa sakin yung carens ko, andumi sa loob, puno ng silver dust yung loob, dashboard, leather seats na galing sa paint, ni hindi man lang nila pinunasan at nilinis. This is besides the fact na kilala namin yung may-ari, paano pa kaya kung hindi. Worst experience ko sa casa, before nung dinadala ko sa honda at mitsubishi casa hindi naman ganito kalala.
Medyo saving grace nila lang is polite pa rin mga tao nila kahit sobrang irate nako (not to the extent naman na ngmumura nako, still had that self control in me).
KIA Congressional po pala yung sinasabi ko. Kelangan ko lang yung kotse sa ngayon pero ipapagawa ko ulit yung carens ko siguro by next month. Sa kanila rin ako ng-pa-5K PMS dati, ok naman, pero sa bodyworks, di talaga maayos. Di nako babalik kahit 5 minutes away lang sila samin.

Well... what do you expect from them. Usually alam lang nila change oil lang.
Last week I called Kia Alabang re warranty of front suspension noise. Mejo pabalang sumagot yung service manager. I think this guy does not know anything about technical issues. I don't think he deserves being the manager either. He also doesn't know how to comfort the customers. Zero PR kumbaga.
So sad ang daming complaints sa casa people.

Had similar bad experienced at KIA congressional. Had my 15K PMS recently, told them that my headlight was busted and for replacement also, was advised that they will include it in their service. After they were finished I asked them again if they've change the busted bulb, ok na daw, upon my checking, still busted pa din so informed them na di naman nila pinalitan. Then no available bulb na daw, tsk! tsk! Later, ang advise sa akin e tatawagan ako after one day para service-san nila ulit.
Now, here comes the worst part, pag-uwi ko sa bahay, I noticed something wrong with my tire. I found out that 3 of the hubcab was wrongfully attached!!! Naipit tuloy yung pito and might cause damage and worst, could lead to accident. Simple pa lang pagbalik ng hubcab and yet nagkakamali na sila, what more yung ginagalaw nila sa loob which are not easily visible? The reason why I entrust my car to casa is to ensure na quality yung works nila for me to have peace of mind, yet mas worst pa pala.
Na- fix naman nila yung pagkakabit nung hubcab pero I was told na same person lang ung nagkabit nun at naglinis ng brakepad and other maintenance works n ginawa sa carens ko. So, till now, medyo kabado pa din ako sa pagtakbo, don't know what might happen sa carens and up to now, wala pa din ako narereceive na tawag sa kanila re sa pag service ng busted headlight kaya sa iba ko na lang pinagawa. Will never get back to them again. Poor after sale service of KIA CONGRESSIONAL.

I had my Carens fixed Kia Signet and sobrang ok sila. Had my two left side doors replaced. I didn't even had to leave the car with them for so long. They just informed me that the doors are there in the casa so I can bring it there na, 2 week lang waiting time ko for the door. Then I brought the car at the casa, got it after 4 days (umuulan kasi nung time na yun kaya di ganun kabilis matuyo yung paint).
I'm wondering why they (Kia Congressional) can't get the right color. Francis from Kia Signet told me that the bar code on the left side of our Carens is used to determine the shade of color to be used in case a paint job is required. Kaya hindi sila nanghuhula dapat. tsk tsk tsk.

I guess may kanya kanyang strengths and weaknesses ang bawat casa. Based on experience, I only had one casa which services my Carens - Kia Dagupan. Maayos naman sila but they sometimes hesitate to make further investigations with regards to my complaints (yung kalampag sa front). Sinabihan lang ako na "observe mo lang sir.." .. well, naobserve ko nga na may kalampag kaya ko kinocomplain eh.
When I went to Kia Baguio to air the same complaint, sinabihan ako na hindi sila nag hohonor ng warranty claims since hindi ko naman nabili yung unit sa kanila. I know that's not supposed to be the case but I dont want to be engaged in an argument kung alam kong ignorante yung kausap ko pagdating sa patakaran ng warranty. I just left in disgust.
Ang alam ko mahirap din talaga magtimpla ng pintura. Magastos din dahil trial and error. Siguro hindi pa technologically updated yung ibang casa pagdating sa tamang pagselect at pag pintura. Kahit yung kulay ng Carens ko , bagamat clear white, eh hindi talaga purong white dahil bumili ako ng spray paint minsan para maspray at matakpan yung mga konting gasgas sa bumper ng Carens ko. Much to my frustration, hindi talaga nag match pero pinagtiyagahan ko na lang.
Pag mag se sales talk ang mga taga casa eh magaling sila at mabilis. Madaling maremedyuhan. Pero pagdating na sa warranty claims, minsan palaging may dahilan.

Hindi talaga parepareho "service" ng iba't ibang casa. Di lang naman sa Kia may ganito, sa lahat ng mga brands din ng kotse.
Syempre on an advertising and marketing point of view dapat galingan nila LAHAT ng services nila para bumalik mga customers, di ba?
It's true the reason why we bring our vehicles to the casa, kahit alam natin na "mahal", is that in our minds -- they know our vehicles VERY WELL because they are specifically trained for that.
I have only tried Signet Mandaluyong and Kia Pasig so I cannot really compare and make generalizations. With my previous Toyota vehicle, may plus-minus points din sila, pero in terms of repair and service, they have an edge since they've been in the market (assembly and distribution) for a long time now. Kia on the other hand, is trying its best to be at par with the industry leaders. Since iba ang structure nila dito, maybe that's the reason why we get different "casa" experiences. I even suggested to one manager of a Kia distribution "why not build an assembly plant here for KIA (and Hyundai for that matter)" so that they can bring down the prices of their vehicles. I'm sure if Kia (Korea) is handling the distrubution and service here, we would definitely hear less complaints.
I think Kia needs more "brand build-up" activities. It's not enough that they have very good products (now) and has won so many praises and awards from the automotive industry these past couple of years. They have to build up its track record, so to speak, for them to survive. Its not too late coz they are still in infancy (the NEW KIA-HYUNDAI) and I think they have gained much ground specially in Europe and the Americas. I do hope that they won't turn a blind eye on the Asian market.

Luckily for us miss bingski is that our color is black so hindi mo mapapansin ang discrepancy sa color unlike sa ibang color. lahat ng rapainted panel halata talaga especially on sunlight.

Ngayon ko narealize din na kahit casa hirap mgtimpla ng kulay for special colors. All the while I was thinking they already have stocks of ready made colors pero hindi pala hehehe. Silver na lang ng kinuha ko kasi inisip ko mas madali kunin yung color pero mahirap pa din pala.
Kakakuha ko lang isa pa car ko from Honda Q.Av naman. Anlayo ng service from KIA Congressional, siguro kasi matagal na yung Honda Q.Av. Mabilis nila actionan yung mga complains ko, mabilis din sila mgbigay ng feedback, then pgbalik sakin ng car ko malinis talaga. Kahit yung engine parang dinetailed na rin nila sa linis. Then pg-observe mo yung paint job, malinis, pulido, at makintab yung ginawa ng Honda....
Haaay, next time try ko signet mandaluyong na lang.
