Mga sir, tanong ko lng, last ko kasi na pms ay last feb of this year, this is for my 10000kms pms, so ngayon ay october na (bale 8months had past) and my odo is at 13000kms, di ba masisira engine ko? short distance travel lang kasi ang takbo ng carens ko, bale hatid/sundo lng sa mga kids sa school. What should i follow sa pms schedule, every 5000kms or every 3months? Any advise? TIA

I don't think you'll have problems with your engine as long as regular yung schedule ng pag-gamit mo.

I just got a quote from Kia Baguio for my 20k pms
Labor and supplies - 8,500
It's worth 700 pesos. I wonder what this fluid is for?

Had my 20k pms last week at Kia Baguio. The breakdown are as follows:
Oil Filter - 750 Air Filter - 850 A/C Filter - 1,100 6 Liters Kia Motor Oil - 1,260 Petron Gear Oil - 525 VAT - 384
Total - 6,300
The Fuel Filter costs 2,200 but unfortunately, the stock that they had is for the Hyundai Starex.
I still have to wait for the fuel filter to arrive. Nag order pa daw sila but I am already inconvenienced by this kasi kailangan kong tumawag at bumalik sa Kia Baguio.
Iba daw kasi size nung pangtanggal. So, pinilit na lang tanggalin using some rags and sandpaper.
When I resumed driving after the PMS, napansin ko mahirap ng magshift to first gear or second gear (MT yung sa akin) lalo na pag kaka andar ko pa lang ng umaga. I brought it back to Kia Baguio thinking na baka nagalaw yung clutch or baka kulang gear oil na nilagay. pero sinabi sa akin na bombahin ko lang daw yung clutch. Pero ganon pa rin.
It's another lesson learned.

just had my 25k PMS at Kia Pampanga, breakdown as follows: labor = 500 motor oil = 964.29 oil filter = 625 gasket oil = 26.78 VAT = 253.93 total cost = 2,370.00 i asked them if they do engine wash and told me the estimated cost for that is 700, so i asked them to include. pero nung pagbalik ko sabi sa akin wala na raw chemical but one of their mechanic had some so pinagawa nya na rin and just told me to pay the mechanic 400. i dont know if this is good, of course hindi kasama yung engine wash sa receipt. as for the ECU update for EGR, i insisted on this but they told me they were busy diagnosing the other carens ( which was already there when i came ) and that they will do this on the 30k PMS

Sometimes, tamad lang yung mga SA/mechaniko and they will just make lame excuses. On my 25k pms i o open up ko din yung pag update ng EGR software.
