For those guys that had an insurance claim already, how much did you pay for the premium. And what insurance company do you have.

For those guys that had an insurance claim already, how much did you pay for the premium. And what insurance company do you have.

Alpha yung insurance from the Casa.

Yung nangyari sa akin, nung na hit and run ako (binangga ng isang vehicle then umalis yung culprit), basag ang rear stop light ko and may gasgas sa bumper, i paid half ng damages, seaboard ata ang insurance company, i ask the casa kng pwde ipa shoulder na lang nila 100% sa insurance, ayaw daw pumayag, i told them that my brother who owns a toyota vios and also my brod-in-law who owns an isuzu crosswind dont have to pay anything pag binangga sila, its always the casa who ask the insurance company na ishoulder na lang lahat or the casa jack up the price para wla daw babayaran ang owner ng vehicle, pumapayag naman daw, but yung sa akin ayaw daw talaga, im switching to other insurance company when mine expires

sirs, im no expert on these but matters, but i have an opinion about this insurance stuff. if im not mistaken, the percentage in question is based on the actual cost of the insurance. for example, if you paid 20,000 for your insurance and you have 10% participation, you'll just be paying 2,000 for the participation. sirs, im not really sure on this, but i dont think the participation is dependent on the cars price. i used to have a car that i paid around 34,000 to be insured and i was told by my agent that my participation was around 5,000. basing on the vehicles price, it would be roughly around .5%. but then again sirs, im really not sure, im just assuming. i think we cn read the stipulations on our policy. God bless us all!

Im not familiar kng magkano yung original amount kasi i was here in china when it happend and i just ask my father in law to process the claim sa casa, but i paid around P4000, 1 rear brake light assembly and repainting of the bumper.

Basahin ko muna ang insurance papers ko at I'll let you guys know.

Sa kia bacolod ko pinasok ang carens ko, then sila na din nag order ng rear stop light assembly, it took them around 40days nga eh bago nila naayos ang stop light ko, yung father-in-law ko ang nag asikaso kasi im still here in china when the accident happened.

Speaking of insurance, mag-expire na kasi yung insurance ko this December and I'm scouting na for a new one. Actually, di pala ako ang na-hassle, Signet, kasi ang tagal magrelease ng check when I did a claim. So far there are three who gave me a quote. Standard ang coverage- Loss/Damage = 787,500 Bodily Injury = 200,000 Property Damage = 200,000 Personal Accident = 25,000 Deductible (participation) = 3,000 FREE TOWING Here are the premiums: People's insurance (this is my current insurance provider) = P15,492.42 Liberty - P14,490.14 Pink Wheels - P16,123.71 (maraming ibang perks to) Would know of other insurance na mas competitive ang mabibigay na premium? Please let me know

Insurance companies classify vans, suvs, mpvs (such as our Carens) as commercial vehicles, and participation is 1.0% of the insurance value. Cars or sedans are considered non-commercial and participation is 0.5%. However, premiums for commercial vehicles are relatively smaller than cars. Sometimes, the insurance company allows suv's/mpvs to be reclassified as non-commercial vehicles.
It is to be noted that the amount difference in the premiums is about the same the difference in the participation costs. So, if you think you will not be in an accident, then I think it is worthwhile for our Carens to be classified as a commercial vehicle. ;D
