Just got into an accident earlier today... At the Coastal Highway... I was going Northbound (Baclaran) from Alabang Zapote, while approaching the tollbooth (EXACT TOLL LANE) i slowed down to a stop since there was a white ISUZU ELF in front of me, which I thought was going to go straight to pay the designated toll, little did I know that his panel was too big to fit the vertical limit bar, so without looking at his mirrors, he switched his truck into reverse and proceeded to back up, I had nowhere to go because of the oncoming traffic behind me I was honking my horn like crazy to prevent the accident... St**id as the driver is he didn't even hit the brakes, what he was trying to do was back up and get into the other toll lane, after backing up he swerved to the right lane and proceeded forward, He was going to outrun me, badluck struck him, the toll lane which he transferred to was closed... that was when I was able to corner him, he had nowhere to go now... I went down from my car to tell him that he had bumped into my front bumper.. he was denying all the accusations saying how can he have bumped into me without him noticing it (talagang nagpapalusot pa) thankfully 2 of the toll guards saw the incident and helped me out, they said they had seen the commotion with the truck backing up and hitting my car... after that the Toll Marshalls arrived to facilitate in making the report... Ingat lang brothers and sisters, minsan may mga gag* talaga sa kalye na hindi mo maiiwasan kahit gano ka kaingat magdrive... Safe Driving to all... some pics of the damage...    |

Buti na lang hindi gaano malaki ang damage pero kahit na ganon, hindi biro ang gastos at abala na binigay niya. Hindi pala niya nakita na may nabangga siya. Bulag ba siya? Ba't siya nagmamaneho?
Eventually, some of us will encounter the same situation sooner or later. The best thing we can pray for is - if ever that happens, sana maging safe tayo at mapalayo sa kapahamakan.
Sir iceman, we know what you feel..at least nahuli siya.

Sorry about the accident. Well anp ang nadecide ng truck driver. whose going to pay for the damages acquired by your unit. Ang taas pa naman ng participation ng unit natin. Have you had it estimated na.

Salamat sa concerns guys... nakakapanginit lang talaga ng ulo, anyways i've talked to the company owner and told them that they should also pay if ever there is a participation fee kase sila naka abala sa akin kahit maliit lang ang damage.. safe driving to all

Ilang beses na rin akong muntik-muntikanan na kaya pag nakakita na ko ng mga truck, iwas na talaga at alam kong ang mga utak ng mga yan e nasa kuko. Kasama na rin dito ang mga jeepney drivers, taxi, at FX. Minsan-minsan e isama mo na din dito ang mga drivers ng "surplus" na Japanese VANS... di yata nila talaga pansin ang mga nasa tabi nila o nasa likod.
Kaya maski na retirado akong militar e ayaw kong bumili o humawak pa ng baril dahil sa baka ako makapatay ng tao sa kalye o mapatay!!!..he he he...di naman ako ganung kabagsik!!!!

nakakainit talaga ng ulo nakatira kami sa compound 6 cars ang naka garahe, last sunday night pangalawa ako sa pumasok sa garahe, and after 5 minutes may narinig akong malakas na tunog na parang may baldeng bumagsak sa kotse ko at nag alarm sya yun pala yung anak ng pinsan ko na hindi masyadong marunong magdrive ang nagpasok ng l300 nila ayun pag baba ko may dent na ang rear bumper ko. Ang masasma dito tinawag niya ang tatay niya ang ginawa ng tatay dahil medyo madilim kinapa lang niya ang bumper at napansin na may dalawang dent sa bumper at sinubukan pa nyang himasin baka bumalik tapos umalis na wala man lamang akong narinig na sori sa kanila. Hanggang ngyayon wala pa rin silang offer na ipapagawa nila ang dent nakakaasar kahit kamag anak mo makakapal talagang ang mukha.
kaya baka next week or this weekend sa grahe namin ko ipapagawa ang kotse para mahiya naman sila!

sorry to hear about the accident. Thank God that you're safe and you kept your cool.
I second emotion with what sir jching said. Ganun din ako, sobrang ayaw kong dumikit sa mga van, jeep, fx, bus, tricycle. Nadala na rin ako sa tricycle kse wala talagang paki-alam ang mga yan. kahit alam nilang di sila kasya, isisiksik nila sarili nila...
hay.... basta let's just remember to keep our cool and be safe always.

buti hindi ka nasaktan at mabuti rin nahuli yung gumawa nyan sa iyo. ako naging victim din ng hit and run 3 weeks ago sa may dela rosa 2 parking sa makati. makakagigil talaga kasi parang super tang* talaga yung gumawa nun sa left front bumper ko dahil sa sobrang gitgit at sa pagkagasgas, imposibleng hindi nya yun naramdaman. pinaayos ko na lang sa Gold Cars sa banawe. ingat kayo palagi!

Keep cool lang guys and gals hehehehe, i know masakit once na nasaktan carens natin, pero kotse lang yan and its not worth it if we got into a fight or to the extent na maka sakit tayo ng tao, kaya nga its better na lagi na lang tayong defensive sa pag namamaneho or double carefull sa paghahanap ng parking space sa mga malls, just remember...daming sira ulong driver sa kalsada hehehehehe

sori to hear that ice naku madami na din ata tayo nabibiktima ng mga sabit ako din eh kaso sa school nman ang sakin mukahng yng isang school bus sa school ayaw umamin anyway ingat mga bro at sis tama sila ingat at iwas sa mga fx ,taxi, tricycle,dyip at motor na din ganyan nga sila mga wlang paki hangang makakalusot lulusot dami ko din nakita sa klaye n carens na may mga sabit o banga ingat mga bro sis  |

Sir iceman mabuti naman nakipag participate ang truck owner. Mas masama kapag dyip o tricycle ang nakasagi. Sa tricycle maawa ka pa , sa dyip naman kung di ka mapaaway hit & run naman. Dito sa Antipolo iba klase tricycle. Didikitan ka talaga sa rear, kaya konting lingat ng driver bangga. kaya ang style bagalan mo ang drive kapag naka sunod ang tricycle.

My unit was a victim of hit and run last Sept 22 afternoon in Makati  Syempre report kagad sa insurance and then off to the casa. The damage on my unit was quite huge. May dent on both doors on the driver side tapos may scratch pa sa fender... Sobrang nakakaiyak talaga, I was depressed the entire night. I went to Kia Mandaluyong yesterday to have an estimate on the repair of my unit. Inabot ng 60,750 ang estimate sa replacement ng doors, repaint, labor etc. Buti na lang 3k lang ang participation ko. Good thing 1 week lang ang waiting period for the doors so hopefully by 2nd week of October, good as new na. Sobrang thank you to the guys in Signet, especially to Meng who handles the insurance claims and kay Francis, because they were so accommodating to think na I didn't buy my unit from them. Hats off ako sa service nila. here are some of the pictures of my damaged car taken a few hours after nakita ko yung damage  Since umulan na kahapon, wala na yung mga puting dust sa car pero sobrang obvious pa rin ang dent and scratches. Paano na hit and run yung unit mo. While nakapark ka ba or you're driving your car. laki ng damage a. Buti na nga lang liit participation mo. sa akin kasi ang participation ko is .1% which is 8,850 kaya ang mahal. pero buti na lang mabait yun taga kia mandaluyong and nagawan naman namin ng compromise. I got a free foglamps with switch and ang participation ko e 7k na lang. but ang drawback is irerepair na lang nila yun bumper ko since wala naman damage yun bumer just scratches lang. and may mga naputol na clipholes.
