Got my carens hit in the rear 3 weeks ago by a volvo. Luckily the damage in my car are mostly on the rear bumper. But the volvo's damage is way bigger. The volvo did get a little damage on the bumper and a broken grill. But worst of all its airbag deployed so his damage is way bigger than mine. BTW his insurance is going to pay for the repair. But up until now the LOA hasn't been released yet. it's 3 weeks already d**n insurance personel.

Sir Darwin......I will not ask kung saan nangyari, anong oras, sino kasama mo......hehe
Malaki ba damage sa rear. Ano bang name ng Insurance company. medyo matagal mag process. matibay pala rear ng carens. It seems malakas ang impact, dahil nag release ang airbag or just the Volvo car is one of the safest car so far today....

Sir shumi, parang malakas ang impact ah kaya nag deploy airbag ng volvo....but glad you are ok, anyway, medyo matagal dumating ang replacement bumper, sa akin till now wala pa, almost 2months na, sabi ng casa, inorder pa daw sa korea yung bumper, its impossible na ganun katagal, ganun ba katagal mag produce lng ng isang bumper?and siguro naman di ganun katagal ang vessel transit time from korea to pinas, kasi from china to pinas ay 4-5days lang ang transit time ng barko.

glad ur safe and ok... this just shows how most new cars are advanced in terms of crash protection... our carens has 4-star NCAP euro rating and 5-star NHTSA US rating... kahit compact MPV sya eh mas matibay pa sa mga old model Volvo... hehehe reminds me of a Fifth Gear episode where they crashed a late model compact car versus an old Volvo station wagon head-on... results?  the 5-star NCAP compact car had minimal damage (driver can walk out) where the Volvo had significant intrusion/damage (driver may have suffered broken legs).... keep safe guys... |

Good to hear you're ok Darwin. Signet mo ba ulit dinala Carens mo? I had to go back there to have my windshield tint replaced. 3 months na ata akong di nakakabalik  |

Thanks for the concern guys, Brought my car at kia e rodriguez. The personnel over there are very helpful and my unit in their custody for a month already. It is not due to their lack of care for my unit, it is basically due to the insurance personnel that was handling my unit. The insurance of the one that hit my my car is the same insurance that I have "Federal Phoenix" but the one that is handling my case is Miss Jonna who is very inconsiderate and very annoying. She is always on leave that's why my they haven't released the LOA for my car for quite some time. Well as of the moment got an approval already and they already replaced every damaged replaceable item except for the left hand bracket that I am discussing with them right now. But it took a lot of time from me and kia e rod to get their approval. And I also contacted my agent in Federal Phoenix which is George. He is very helpful in following up my claim. Well all my parts have arrived already and had alrady been painted. I am just waiting for the go signal for the Left hand bracket for replacement.

Saan mo pinasok ang unit mo? and san ka nagclaim ng bumper kasi sa kia e rod meron agad parts e. Ok sila sa customer service. Like yung warranty issues ko with regards sa aircon ko. Walang part dito sa pinas and they have ordered it in korea last week and ngayon kinakabit na nila. fresh na fresh pa daw galing barko. look for ronnie with regards sa warranty ok kausap ito. |

Finally my unit has been released already. It looks like brand new again. after a month nagamit ko ulit si carens...  |

Btw, mas ok ba gumawa sa E. Rod compared to Signet? Curious lang ako, malapit na kasi ako magpa 15K PMS so I might try having it at E. Rod.

Ako muntik na, buti na lang at nagbago ako ng isip at umatras sa kahabaan ng Ortigas Ave Ext. papuntang Cainta, kung hindi e na-stuck ako dun katulad ng marami nung rumagasa na ang baha. Mabuti na lang at natakot ako sa condition ng trapik at tubig sa harap ng Tiendesitas at bumalik na lang ako sa Medical City at duon nagpalipas ng bagyo. Nang lumuwag na ang trapik ng bandang 5PM ng hapon e lumakad na ako at dumaan sa EDSA. Grabe ang trapik kaya nagdaan ako sa White PLains at duon na nagpalipas ng dalawang araw sa mga in-laws ko sa Balara, Ayala Heights. Duon ko nalaman na grabe sa Marikina at saka sa Cainta at di ko makabalik sa Antipolo. Monday na ng hapon ng makauwi ako. |

Hope everybody is safe after all the flooding. Ok naman kami sa area namin sa marikina kasi medyo mataas kami, pero puro baha at putik ang paligid namin.
