Ang alam kong "bago" na Carens eh yung "stripped down" version.

yun look naman ng bagong carens na nakita ko sa Kia Ormoc ay walang pinagbago. sa loob lang siguro ang may nabago. ito yung nakita kong bagong "tomato red" na carens na Kia Ormoc 2 weeks ago: i366.photobucket.com/albums/oo110/barzee/11032008743.jpgas you can see, di naman nabago labas... |

patanong lang po. ano ano ba ang natanggal na features sa carens compared to 2008.
our carens (2008) has:
- 60/40 split 2nd rows
- collapsible 2nd and 3rd rows
- cup holder/ash tray in 2nd row seats
- 2nd row aircon vent
compared to 2007 model, the ff was removed:
- illuminated keyhole
- cargo light
balita ko lahat ng nabanggit ko na meron yung 2008 model e wala na? also, i saw from pictures here that the roof rack was replaced with a cheaper looking one. tsk tsk...
can anyone confirm for sure. may nagtatanong po kasi sakin. thanks!

I was able to look at the new Carens at Kia Pasig, though I did not investigate the interiors that much, one thing missing from the outside is the plastic covering that protects the metal body of the carens around the wheels is now missing and this goes for the rear wheels only. This is not really a big "modification." Also, the wheels are now Michelin tires because the tires are now sourced here, unlike before, when the carens arrives from Korea complete with wheels -- I guess this is good news for the new carens.
Though my unit is already a 2008 (when i bought it late 2007) the only thing missing from the original 2007 model is the cargo light.
Actually, if we survey all carens members, not all 2007/2008 models will have the same specs...lumalabas, every carens that comes out of any dealership could be "one of a kind" kasi magkakaroon the kahit isang specs na kakaiba... ;D

yup i agree with sir barzee. depending on which batch your Carens fall under during the delivery from Korea, even if its the same year the specs are not the same for all.
